Ayurvedic and wellness resort “Mangosteen”
The hotel is located on the south of Phuket, in five-minute drive to Nai Harn Beach, where the hotel shuttles regularly run free of charge. All 49 villas of six categories of the hotel are located on the hills with a beautiful view of the four bays and many islets. The hotel welcomes guests from 12 years of age only. This is Phuket’s first authentic Ayurvedic spa resort and is staffed by a certified Ayurvedic Doctor. Ayurveda is an ancient Indian “science of life” that originated over 5,000 years ago. It heals not only the body of a person, but also his spirit. Harmonizes the personality – his body, mind and spirit. If for some reason you are unable to travel to Kerala or you are not yet ready to visit India, then this resort is a great “civilized” alternative or a first try of Ayurvedic treatment. All the ingredients used in the treatments and spa treatments are 100% authentic, natural and organic. The hotel offers 2 types of programs: Ayurvedic and wellness. All programs are individual – any program you choose will be adjusted by the doctor at the first consultation based on the results of the first medical examination and your wishes. It can be detox-specialized, weight loss-specialized, or specialized on specific problems (like back pain, headaches etc). The duration of the programs varies from two days up to four weeks. The Ayurvedic spa is located on the center of the resort overlooking the sea. It has four treatment rooms, two specialized Ayurvedic rooms, two steam rooms, a large private jacuzzi, a Prana yoga sala, a garden with a waterfall for relaxation. Distances to nearest beaches and attractions by car:
- 60 minutes to the airport
- 5 minutes to Nai Harn and Chalong beaches
- 10 minutes to Promthep Cape and Kata Beach
Ayurvedic programs
The hotel offers four Ayurvedic programs to choose from. The set of procedures is indicative. The exact program is drawn up after the first consultation with a certified Ayurvedic doctor and is strictly individual. You can book the program both with accommodation, which is much more comfortable, and without accommodation. The number of days/ nights – any (under the calculation), but the minimum period is 7 nights. For convenience, on the site we offer programs for 7 and 14 days (optimal terms). The program includes full meals: breakfast, sattvic lunch and dinner (vegetarian food, not contaminated by animal killing or toxins), “live” drinks (non-alcoholic), as well as daily nirvana yoga classes (60 minutes). Prices are the same for all types of programs.
